Although AI offers many benefits, public concerns about its use remain high.

To address these issues, strong regulation is needed, especially around privacy and intellectual property. Effective AI governance involves collaboration between policymakers, industry leaders, and the public to ensure the ethical and practical use of AI.

The ongoing AIBP Innovation Survey 2024 highlights that 82% of Indonesian respondents see privacy and security issues as the main barriers to AI adoption. Addressing these challenges is critical to accelerating AI innovation in Indonesia.
